Since the pandemic began, more of us are now experiencing social anxiety. Whether that's overthinking things that you said at a social gathering, avoiding the gatherings altogether, or relying on alcohol to get through social events. But what can we do about it?
My guest this episode is a powerhouse of well-being. Mita Mistry is a Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapist & Coach, an Acupuncturist, and. practitioner of many other therapies like cupping and Gua Sha. She's also the author of a new book called ‘How to Understand and Deal With Social Anxiety’.
Mita shares her own childhood struggles with social anxiety and practical steps to manage it.
